Hello world..... Here I am starting a brand new adventure in an old venue on the web. I know... been there/done that, but now I am hoping to mix my blogging into my creative venues and online sales.

If the words 'Online Sales' hasn't already scared you off I hope you read on to learn that this blog won't be just about selling. I have opened a page for my online stores, selling photo/ digital art which you can find at the top of the page. That is all the sales pitch I will give. I might add a reference here and there as I upload new work to the POD's where I sell from, but no heavy handed selling. I promise.

You are probably wondering why I am blogging at all rather than just selling. Well, I am doing this for my own inspiration but if I can help others to find their own muses along the way I will be thrilled. I am also hoping to spread my wings into selling digital downloads of some sort but I am not really interested in joining with Etsy. So I might use this web site for selling that. We will see.

If you check my BIO Page, (a link also provided above), you can see I have other creative passions that I will more than likely want to share. First is the poetry. Before there were home computers it was me and my pen with a pad of paper and I wrote some pretty great verse. At least my family thinks I did. I have long since lost my poetic muse but not the love for the great bards of old. I still find myself looking to their words for inspiration in my life. Probably always will, so you could expect to see a post or two or three dedicated to some of my favorite works.

Lastly, since my husband & I have found ourselves retired on the east coast of Canada (we are transplanted from urban life of Ontario) I now have the space and time to reflect on the natural world around me. Much of my art is inspired from my home. I have always been a botanical gardener but now I find myself emersed in the edible side of things. I am even dragging my husband into the world of home grown food. Come next spring I expect we will be enthusiastically jumping into it again so you can expect to hear more of that as we go.

In short I expect I will be making things up as I go but since my mind is massively more cluttered than my world is, it should be interesting to see what new scheme and dream I come up with next. Hang tight as we explore this world I call 'Life'
